For this collection the designer was clearly inspired by the architectural work of Hadid, the photographs of Edward Weston, India, spirituality and the search for pure and perfect form. The collection therefore is a homage to simplicity that becomes precious thanks to details, cuts, inserts, drapes, fabrics and geometrical forms. The outfits have precious necklines, asymmetrical lengths, balloon shoulders, curls and new volumes

Apparently, a constant of all collections concerning Spring-Summer 2012 is the lack of shape and structure, or atleast, the artistic try of redefining the entire purpose of shaping and misshaping. 

So happens in Lim’s collections. The preponderent pastel is absolutely adorable and it proves that even color can be a subtle hint of transparency, altogether with fluidity and comfort.

Considering the invasion of pastels and bold prints that swear to accaparate the fashion world for the future months, Miu Miu indulges in hard to adorn materials, straight cuts that fit only perfect figures and amazingly well structured outfits.
